Import your own robot
Rhino-first geometry → articulated definition → simulation preparation
01 · Upload CAD
Preferred: Rhino .3dm. You can also bring meshes from Rhino/Fusion as STL, OBJ or GLB. Select multiple files, ideally one file per moving link.
Waiting for design files. No CAD data is sent to Railway or RunPod.
File processing and preview happen on this device. The page loads the open-source Three.js viewer and Rhino decoder from a CDN. Your private CAD geometry is not uploaded or saved by the website.
Imported items
No files yet.
03 · Preparation / validation
Import one or more parts to begin assembly checks.
An imported CAD model is not automatically trainable. Joint frames, link mass/inertia, collisions, actuators, sensors and the learning task must be verified before the $5 RunPod trial. No custom-policy launch is enabled here.
Recommended Rhino export process
- Keep the original editable Rhino
.3dmfile. - Organize moving links by Rhino layer/object; preferably export each link to a separate STL mesh in millimeters.
- Make separate mechanical solids for moving links, with pivots located deliberately.
- Export STEP if you also want a CAD-exchange master file; this preview does not tessellate STEP.
- Return here to assign parent links, axes, limits and motor properties.
