Overview

Meet Me Halfway finds a geographic or limit-adjusted center and nearby meeting places for two or three people. It has no account system, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK. Hagop.io does not sell personal information.

Location information

The app accesses a device’s foreground location only after someone taps “Use my location” and grants permission. It does not request background location. Typed locations and coordinates are sent only when needed to complete an explicit location lookup, venue search, route comparison, map request, or outbound directions request.

These independent services receive the network address and request data necessary to respond and apply their own policies. Hagop.io’s data gateway validates and may temporarily cache repeated public-data responses; it does not create a user profile.

Flights, hotels, reviews, and reservations

The Trips workspace builds outbound search links from the origins, destination, dates, and travel preferences entered by the user. Live prices, availability, ratings, reviews, and reservations are not collected or stored by Hagop.io. They open directly with the selected travel, map, review, hotel, or reservation provider, whose own privacy policy applies.

On-device storage

Current planning state normally remains in app memory. If “Remember this plan” is enabled, participant display names, entered location text, coordinates, preferences, and limits are stored locally on that device. Favorite places and saved flight/hotel plans are also stored locally only after the user chooses Save. Saved items can be exported to a JSON file, imported, individually removed, or cleared. Hagop.io does not sync that file or those saved items to an account.

Sharing

Sharing is always user-initiated. A shared URL contains participant display names, coordinates, and planning preferences so another person can open the same plan. It does not include the raw address text that was entered. Anyone who receives the URL can read the information encoded in it, so share it only with intended recipients.

Retention, children, and changes

Hagop.io does not maintain an app-account database. Standard hosting and security logs may be retained by infrastructure providers for limited operational purposes. The app is not directed to children under 13. Material policy changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
